For the 2013 ActiveHybrid 3 Sedan, BMW will use the "next generation" Nav Professional System.

Both of these models are in the same series, class, and roll off the same production line. I personally find this ridiculous, given the $3,100 price tag.

This is somewhat minor for people who aren't very tech oriented with their BMWs, as it is more of a performance upgrade/visual update (faster processor, higher resolution, updated maps, etc.) But if you're a techie and can pinpoint and articulate these differences, it's quite a b!tch to be without said update.

From a tech standpoint, this is a very substantial, major upgrade.
