I started to follow this idiots guide but chickened out after saving the FA file (any name on my desktop) and loading the SALAPA-Element but before changing 6NH to 6NS.

I disconnected the lead and played about with the saved file from the comfort of my lounge and it looks straightforward.

I might give it another go in the morning.

Am I best to save the FA file (any name) in the FA directory within the E-Sys programme rather than to the desktop or doesn't it matter once the amended FA file has been written to the car?

I need to grow a pair !!
