I think this is a very good point that is lost on so many people. It takes an enormous amount of very intelligent people to develop such machines and why is that not considered workforce as well? We're just shifting the jobs from one field to another. Admittedly not everyone can do these high-tech jobs but that is the world we live in. You adapt or you go the way of the dinosaurs like those GM unions.

Kinda reminds me of the movie Idiocracy. We'll end up doing nothing sitting on a toilet all day with a soda in one hand and a TV remote on the other. Not sure I'm going to like it.
