I think Morr and HRE are about the same price at ~$3800 a set (19") depending on finish options +/- $100. A bit cheaper than your $2k per tire fear but still not exactly cheap.
I know there are options that are about half that price with the loss of some quality, but I'm sure others can chime in. $2k for a decent set shouldn't be too hard to find if you look around. There are quite a few threads here that show what people are using/looking at that could probably give you a good idea.
