Strange then that lots of people in Europe have no issue with hooking up a caravan to a family car and driving 2000km (each way) for the summer holiday to the south of Europe. These trailer pick-ups are standard factory options from the manufacturer, or you can have them added later at the dealer.

Ohh and the typical family car in Europe is at most a 2.0 liter, although Diesel models are more popular with caravan people for its torque.
