I would first check to make sure the USB drive is formatted in FAT32. Also, try another USB drive to make sure it's not just the USB stick that is causing the issue. I have had a couple issues when working on friends cars where their USB stick wouldn't import and had to be wiped cleaned and reformatted. Let me know in a PM if the problem persists.
