people have strengths and weaknesses, and they have experiences which pave their skillsets. It is real possibility that this AMG engineer knows how to make AMG-like cars, which are very different from BMW cars. Many people on this forum have chosen BMW cars time and time again, because they are different in a better way than the competitor, Audi, Merc, etc. To have the two brands merge in any way, can be seen as a threat to the uniqueness of the brand.
