@rxander: It depends what you use, of course. If you're only goal is to get rid of the egg yolk but still want to have amber lights, without the need of LED turn signals, you could go for these instead:

Those are just regular bulbs but in chrome, so you don't see the amber during daytime anymore. Pretty simple and cheap solution imho
They also have them in white, btw, which I actually have at home (tried those before I tried the LED's that I have now).
For those wondering about the occasional blinking that occurs, I will post a vid one of these days to show you what exactly happens (will wait till night time so it's really clearly visible)
