I'd recommend the starter kit - I like to do it old school.. Wash w/ Dawn, Claybar w/ Zaino car wash as the lubricant. Apply 2 layers of Z-5, then top it off w/ a layer of Z-2.
Also, tires are coated with Zaino's Z-16 tire protectant - Can't comment much on it so far (first time using it) but it seems to be alright. It's more of a satin finish which I like.
