Wow, 8 days at the VDC? Was this just because you were having accessories installed or are there backlogs there?
I'm scheduled to arrive at the VDC next Tuesday and my CA seems to be anticipating a quick turnaround. We shall see.
Look on the bright side though, at least the roads should be clean by the time your car arrives. I would not want to have taken delivery of a new car during our recent (never ending?) stream of winter storms.
