If I ever meet you, drinks on me. The rattle in my car has been driving me crazy for the past 3 weeks. This video helped me figure out how to get into the front passenger door. I secured the floating white fasteners with some electrical tape. Wedging the tape into the tracks where fasteners sit/float so they are more secure and unable to float and rattle. So far so good after taking the car for a ride right afterward, the rattle(s) that were driving me crazy seem to be eliminated. My gratitude for everyone sharing similar problems and DIY projects to fix.

BTW These floating fasteners are all over our cars. BMW should really find a better solution
