Stockport is a nightmare at the moment, roadworks joining the A6 from the motorway mean the most direct route is snarled up, and it's usually pretty bad, as well as everyone then trying the alternatives.

I left Trafford Park last Thursday at 4.30pm and it took 2 and a half hours to get home to Chesterfield. That was trying two or three different routes once around Stockport using Waze, there just wasn't a traffic free route. Without traffic it'd be just over an hour.
