The stock 335i rear brakes have single pot sliding calipers, they're made by Bosch (as shown on the pic on that quoted thread)

The 2-pot rear caliper is only fitted to either M-sport brake (option 2NH) or M-performance brake. 2NH is currently not available in the US (as u well know).

Btw, I think the US-spec 328i M-sport comes not only with Euro pads, but also with standard EU-spec front discs (i.e. 330mm vs 300mm) and caliper brackets.
