Truth be told, I didn't know what this was either until I read this.

I guess you have to find a long stretch of desolate road to do this on. I'm just over the 1000 mile mark on mine. Wonder if I can still do this, or is it too late?

OP - I have been following the instruction's break-in method, and from what I've noticed, the engine has really started to "wake up" as I'm nearing the end of the initial break-in. The engine feels like it's starting to pull better and more smoothly just under normal driving, even more so when I give it a bit more gas to get it into the 4000rpm range. My opinion, from what I'm experiencing, would be to stick with what the instructions say.
