While I own the 3GT, I agree that 4GC looks awesome. See below, I don't think 3GT could ever match these looks:

I test drove the 4GC before buying and it was clearly better. I found it almost exactly similar to a 3-sedan (F30). In fact I wonder why people would buy a sedan when 4GC exists? I think it looks as good if not better and it's good infinitely better storage due to the hatch.
With that said, I think 3GT knocks one out of the park due to its rear seat space, so no regrets.
