My current 328 has 42k km and has not used a drop of oil. Has been through 2 oil changes so far with 3rd in 3k.
My previous cars included a 135i (N54 engine). After 80k km again not a drop of oil used.
I don't thrash nor granny my cars. Guess been lucky.
