I can add that moving the car between shots does a lot too, instead of just moving yourself around the car. And all the lines when you park the car across the parking spots distracts the eye too. And try not to get such a tight crop when you compose the picture. A bit more space around the car helps to bring the pictures to life.

Other than that I agree with the ones you quoted above. Tone it down a bit. Don't get me wrong, way better pictures than what most people post. But they can get even better with just a little bit of more thought behind them.
