You'll need either your dealer order number on your order sheet for the car (7 digits), or the last 7 digits of your VIN (which your dealer can give to you). Maybe don't say you've ordered the car from
them when you phone up, perhaps say something along the lines of ’my car is in production this week and I've been asked to give you a call for a quick status update’. I usually say something like that and have got the info every time. Good luck!!
