It doesn't know for sure - hence it says 'acceptable for most cars' and my suggestion that you pop to a tyre shop to get it checked out for sure - the tool just assumes there will be some tolerance to accept the nominal change you are looking at. I assume you haven't altered the suspension from standard and that you are probably on xDrive which gives a little more clearance anyway... You can put your wheels on full lock and check how much clearance you have from the suspension parts and from your wheel wells - the tool tells you what additional clearance you will need... Obviously you can't tell the affect on clearances when you are at full lock and full suspension travel - that's why you need some expert advice - but in theory it looks to be OK...

I should also add that I've assumed you are talking about putting these tyres on your current rims and they are the standard 19" 8J & 9J rims for 225/45 & 255/40 mixed tyres...
