Yeah, they will be closer to the hub, 13mm closer compared to the 397, but the rear wheel will be 12mm wider. The numbers cancel each other out so an 8.5" wheel at ET47 will sit out exactly the same as an 8" wheel at ET34. On M perf suspension you will be 1/2" higher compared to H&R sport, plus you should have less body roll, so I can't see that rubbing.
I've not used spacers on the front, but would be reasonably confident 12mm will work.
Of course we're talking mm's here, so obviously the tire and its sidewall play a big role.
