I don't know if anyone else noticed but the tachometer programming in
most of the new 'F' bodies seem to respond before the engine does, making the shifts 'look' like they're quicker than they are. for example, as you hit the paddle to downshift the computer 'knows' where the tach will be in the next gear and it shows the new RPM before the engine reaches it. Not sure if I like this yet, kind of takes away from knowing exactly what your car is doing.
