Also do note all ESCs have a max lifetime payout clause, which usually is tied to NADA value of the car at time of current repair.

E.g. at 99k, your 4-year-old car can be worth, say, $10k, and a needed repair costs $12k.

In this case, the ESC will only pay up to $10k for all repairs(paid by the policy) up to that point.
