Really, I don't think they are
that bad. "Hideous beast," "Hideous and devoid of taste and sensibility," comparing to altezzas, etc. seems a bit harsh! Maybe some better pics will sway some of you to realize these are not so tasteless. Outside of one's personal taste, perhaps, but I wouldn't consider it an
aesthetic atrocity, haha.
