Hey David, I to was too excited to concern myself with this on delivery however my situation was quite funny;

I was told about $2,400 for an additional two years and advised that there had already been a 30% increase increase in the premium this year so I shouldn't delay...... When I still wasn't sold on the idea I was told that I should "seriously consider it" as BMW in general have huge electrical problems when they get older and she gave me an example of an x5 that cost $5000 for one electrical replacement part. Not a technique I would of used on a first time BMW owner lol

Will look into it in a couple of years time, scare tactics don't work on me.
Allianz underwrites the extended warranties and BMW insurance, well they do in Perth.
