The upside as already stated
1. Xenons without premium
2. Parking package, now DAP without premium
3. Can get Nav without HUD (but is so expensive you might as well)
4. Can get wood in base model for 500
5. Can get wood in sport model for 250
That sounds great, wanted everything pretty much except the premium package or maybe it was just the leather seats. Now I could get pretty much everything without the extra cost, keyless entry would've been nice though...

That's probably why the price pretty much stayed the same in the end because even though BMW made some things standard they actually created more variations of the car from what I'm seeing.
