Well, let me be the bearer of bad news and let you know that I've test driven new 2013 328 and 335 and they all had a wobble in the steering a bit over 45mph. You let go of the wheel and it dances back and forth.

328 and 335 with and without VSS. Sad, but true.

I didn't find it annoying as once you grabbed the wheel, you didn't feel it. I was wondering if that changes as the tires wear....

I suspect MY14 or the LCI will have a new rack or other damper mods to properly address this.

BTW, the ATS V6 I drove had no such wobble, it handled like a beast and had no body roll. Kinda felt like my E90 MSport. Sure, the CUE system is odd, but it seems GM is dedicated to improving it. They even promote software upgrades coming in the ATS brochure. You cannot deny supporting US industry is a nice thing to do if you live Stateside!
