Miscellaneous facts about the F30 LCI & B47;
- The B47 engine is 2 Kgs lighter than the outgoing N47.
- The F30 LCI has vacuum-operated bypass valves, which allows a higher proportion of uncooled exhaust gas to be fed into the engine while it is warming up.
- Cupholders now have sliding cover.
- A Space saver is being offered but does take up some boot space.
- F30 LCI Chassis is revised too, but not sure what changes.
- The DSC has been updated.
- New Ambient Lighting.
- The headlights have moved further apart to give the LCI a broader look from the front.
Some Facts about BMW's in India;
- No M/T in India (not even on the M Models)
- Diesel loving audience
- Most BMW's in India are chauffeur driven.
- Only a handful (under 50) of 328i's were offered in India during the F30 launch in 2012 & my 328i is one of them.
- No petrols 3'ers were offered until earlier this year they were re-introduced 320i through the CBU route.
- No 330i or 340i available.
- The pricing for the M sport 320d is 44.5L (ex-showroom) i.e. U$ 67,000 - YES cars are expensive in India.
