Interesting point, my dealer claims the central BMW UK sales have told him of a 4-6 week delay with cars ordered with the hexagon trim. Since I ordered brushed aluminium, he wasn't sure why my car was delayed.

I've ordered brushed aluminium trim as well so I'll wait to see what the dealer says.
