Why would you want to? What characteristics are you wanting to change about the car? I assume you are talking front and rear on the same rims?

I would suggest the 255 is the section BMW find gives the best feel from the chassis for the average driver. The typical chassis BMW driver's aim for.

I know I wouldn't want wider tires on the same fromt rim, as steering would be less precise, not as sharp on turn in and likey much more corrupted. I can't see the car being as nimble on fitting wider tires on the same rims.

Honestly it's really more for the look than anything else and if I can get some added grip then all the better. Great advice though on the rims. I think I will look at 19 or 20 on 255 or keep my 18's on 245.

Thanks
