What temperature do you allow your engine oil to reach before racing the engine?

Just wanted to know what is the minimum oil temperature that you think the car should attain before slamming on the accelerator?
I've noticed on my car, the steady state temperature is about 235 F but it take a long time to reach that temperature (about 10-14 minutes of driving). Was wondering if it is safe(in the long run) to take the engine to near red line speeds before the temperature reaches steady state?
