I did not want an all black wheel.. just personal preference, and the Elbrus had the option for the BMW caps and they looked similar to the 403's so I went that route. $1750 out the door and no shipping because Tirerack is here in my back yard so I could pick them up myself. $50 rebate on the Pirellis takes it to $1700. Can't complain at all... and if something bad happens to a wheel during the winter, minimal cost to replace. The car easily recognized the new TPM and I was good to go right away.

I was wondering about the TPMS being recognized. I thought I'd have to go by the dealer to get it synced.
So you were able to order the BMW center cap with the wheel from TireRack? Man, now I really hope I can find one that fits the Enkei wheels.
I hear ya too on the black. I just figured it would be nice to change the whole look of the car for 5 months out of the year by doing something so simple. ANd I do like the look of the Black wheel on the EBII. Black wheels on a black body are a bit too much for me though.
