I think of DRL's as a proactive safety feature. I believe that it should be implemented in more cars. I find abit blinding at times maybe abit more blue or even yellow would be easier on the eyes.
My only concern initially years ago was the draining of the battery as more energy being drawn to power them but I think technology has come along way since then.
