Try another lease company as they must have different attitudes. I really would have expected Xdrive to add little to the monthlies due to enhanced residuals.
For me Xdrive would be a no brainer to give that extra bit of assurance for the bad weather, others don't care so much but having to abandon my pride and joy after it got stuck somewhere would kill me. Also I need to get to work everyday with no decent public transport therefore I need to be sure I am mobile.
