+1 I can confirm that Sport in Manual mode will automatically up shift at redline. It will not up shift sooner. It's like a failsafe for your transmission. Haven't tried it in Sport+... but now I'm curious.
By kick down, I'm assuming everyone means down shift. It will auto down shift to prevent stalling. The downshifting is really smooth. Again, I'm not sure about Sport+... but I believe it auto downshifts for you in Sport+ as well. |
What I mean by kickdown is that extra pedal travel past the resistance click. If you push the pedal past the resistance it will downshift to the lowest gear for the rpm's as possible. It will not do this in sport+. Beware in sport plus not to blow your engine because it will not shift. I'm still sometimes forgetting and shifting too late.
