I have multiple cars with various detectors. The Escort models have nicer ergonomics and additional features, but the various models and the V1 have similar responsiveness and sensitivity in real world environments.
The arrows of the V1 are hard to beat and great when driving truly fast in an out-state twisty road environment; you have information on which to base a decision to speed up again. Thus, the V1 is in my Z06.
