6 speed manual is extremely smooth and easy to launch. Much smoother than my E46 M3 or even E46 325i. ASS works as it should with the manual, but I usually turn it off. |
To Op, I'm not a fan of the manual. I prefer the 8at for this car. I don't like the super light clutch and super light gear stick. Feels like power assisted. I like the old school BMW heavy clutch and notchy gear stick. One plus is that the throws are short. I drove 6mt and 8at back to back and ordered the 8 sport auto
