Right, I must have mixed up, there is a coilover system available from BMW itself as I recall, or is it for e90 / e92 only? It comes along with a pneumatic system on adjusting damping rate electronically.

That makes you an expert compared to me.
I'm not quite sure as this is my first BMW but an OEM coilover system is definitely not available for the F30. I considered a coilover system but I opted to purchase the MPS for two reasons: (i) much less of a drop - only an additional 10mm for the MSport and (ii) OEM.
My friend has a KW coilover system installed on his X6 and loves it (he needed the additional lowering capacity!)
