F30 335 Stage1 Progress - Update

Just passing on an update I received from Terry about the F30 Stage1. I have a had a lot of questions about this and promised to keep everybody up to date as best I could, so here is some info

Was able to do some additional local F30 335 Stage1 testing today. The install is actually very easy compared to the E90 models as you don't need to remove the cowl to access the DME box or engine sensors. Also keep in mind the Stage1 is very BETA at this point so be sure to also grab the BMS USB cable so we can send you the firmware updates for it as we release them.

We're also working on Stage2 tuning for it (the add on box that plugs in to the Stage1 harness) but there is quite a bit of work left on that so no ETA on it. Down the road you just pay the price difference to upgrade it.

Compared to stock the Stage1 really wakes the car up, and at $379 is a much better option than some of the other $1500 F30 piggybacks I've seen floating around that basically do the same thing and don't offer the possibility of CANbus access.

Here is a short video showing how to place the harness and box:
