No mate, you should be right. Opti-coat dealers have to agree to a certain standard in order to apply the product, so if you're using a detailer that's come well referred in the first place you should end up with a nice protectant shortly
Advice from my guy was to avoid touching it for a few days and ideally let it cure for 1-2 days prior to taking it out if you can.
