What are the current stats regarding frequency of punctures ? I think I read that it's something like one per 90K miles. Unless you're very unlucky it just doesn't happen very often and is rarely anything more than a screw/nail.
TyreWeld or Slime plus a compressor should be fine for the vast majority of punctures. If it's something more serious there's always BMW Assist, if you have that cover.
Switching to non-RFT gives the benefit of improved ride all year round.

Ride quality was the reason for wanting to go down the non runflats route.
I may just chance it and get a Slime repair kit and the F1's. If my missus happens to get a flat she can just deal with it
