I was convinced that my next choice would be non runflats (Goodyear F1 Asymmetrical 3's) with Tyreweld and a compressor in the boot, but I read a thread about a member saying that if he was in the car on his own then TyreWeld and compressor is fine, but with the wife driving with 2 kids in the back then this is more of a problem.

I don't really know as I have always had a spare in previous cars and have never used Tyreweld. Don't know if this would just be a nightmare for my missus.

You guys had much experience with the stuff? Would you risk non runflats or stick with the runflats?
My A-Class came with run flats and were loud and stiff which affected the handling. Ive since put F1 Asymetric 3's on it and it drives like a completely different car.

The only time I did get a puncture with the run flats it tore a hole in the actual tread so the tyre slime was no good and had to get recovered anyway!
