I hear it every morning when I'm backing out of my garage, so I can understand what the OP is talking about. I know it's there to make sure you don't back up into anything or turn and hit anything on the side, but it would be nice to have the front sensors silenced when in reverse for those in areas where parallel parking is not very common. I've also lowered the volume as low as it will go and it's still a bit annoying. Would be nice to get the volume even lower.
