We have already established your
grip on tire history is, at best, tenuous. Run summer tires in the snow if you want - I am not part of the lecturing crowd - but do not attempt to justify it with specious historical "facts."
Even if true, do you really want to argue your current decisions are grounded in competing with 15 and 20 year-technology? "15 years ago the bar was much lower and, look at me!, I limped over the old low bar of nearly a generation ago."
