Why wouldn't you just say "I'd like to buy the car tomorrow. Would you sell the car at invoice?" Don't leave him any room, be firm. If you want to budge, that's up to you.. if he doesn't come down low enough, go to another dealer. Dealers are a dime a dozen - you have the upper hand.

Know your #'s and calculate the lease at invoice beforehand. Don't believe any calculation the dealer makes, calculate it yourself.

I just got a dealer to agree to a car at $100 below invoice, plus rebates. In the end its YOUR money. Why leave $200 on the table?
