Camber plates would be a first priority for me. Unlike previous BMW models, with the F30 you can't knock the alignment pin out of the front strut tower and get any real negative camber. As a result I corded the outside shoulder of my front Hankook Z214's after one autocross and one track session.
But the chassis is really well suited to track duty. I love the crisp turn-in thanks to the centralized mass. The motor is strong enough for now, and unlike the N54 equipped cars it doesn't overheat.
I'm working with a shop here in LA to develop some brake ducts that will hopefully require a minimum amount of cutting. My goal is to have something functional but lease friendly.
