This is a laffable comment. The people who buy/lease the 7 series are even more financially savvy than your traditional 3 series driver, which also means they're going to be more conservative in times of financial instability.

Additionally, jopa is right. 7 series owners are more typically leasers than they are buyers, because they enjoy the ability to swap out their cars sooner just as much as the next guy.

Unless you work for BMW and you know what the release schedule is, this statement is farce, and making such a matter-of-fact statement in a public forum probably isn't wise if you *are* an employee.
