You can also check www.bmwvin.com

I have nav + BMW Assist, and bmwvin shows for my VIN:

S6AAA BMW TELESERVICES BMW TeleServices
S6ABA STEUERUNG TELESERVICES Control for Teleservices
S6NLA ANBIND.BLUETOOTH-U.USB-GERAETE INKL Connection Bluetooth + USB devices incl.
S6UHA TRAFFIC INFORMATION Traffic Information
S6VAA CIC ZUSTEUERUNG CIC-Zusteuerung

I don't see an individual 6VC code in my build, it may be part of one of the above packages.
There are two Combox flavors, Combox Media (without BMW Assist) and Combox Telematics (w/ BMW Assist). U.S. cars with a factory Combox are all Combox Telematics, although either flavor could be retrofitted into a U.S. car.

bmwvin.com is definitively the easiest fastest way to check factory options.

In E-Sys though, Combox Media will be shown as CMB_MEDIA, and Combox Telematics will have CMB_MEDIA and CMB_ECALL.

The newer cars have have all Combox functions built into the Head Unit now, so those functions would be in HU_CIC, and you will not have separate options for 6VC Combox or 6FL USB Port..
