High Beam Assistant
Wow - this is a significant improvement on the system on my F10
That system only switches high beam on and off when it detects oncoming or tail lights.
The F11 is much more advanced. Driving along the motorway it puts on high beam but points the lights to the near side verge, this can be quite disconcerting as you think you are blinding oncoming cars, or those who you are following. As you approach a vehicle to overtake the lights swing to the centre then dip.
I think this is a feature and nobody flashed me, I'm sure I must have blinded somebody. I did a manual high beam and got a completely different light distribution.
Unfortunately my fun was cut short on my return journey when I got an error message saying Adaptive Headlight Failure,I hope this resets when I restart it tomorrow.
