I would have thought that the dealership would want to get the motor to the customer as soon as possible, therfore no need to be out in the elements for long.
Do you mean, if the motor was getting some work done on it in the garage, it would be outside for up to a month ?
I'm not sure to be honest, but i would think it would be undercover somewhere.
