I think there are two separate issues here. AWD is faster because of the two extra wheels. No matter how much power you got, it's ultimately down to wheel spin on the ground. You can only do so much with two going straight.

As for AT vs MT vs 335 vs 328, there are two many factors. Engine, turbo, transmission, software, skill ... I have no idea.

Now I'm back to MT/AT debate again
